BEL-AIR
Architect: Tom Doak, Eric Iverson (lead associate)
Where: Bel-Air, CA
When: 2017-2018
Team: Eric Iverson, Brian Schneider, Kye Goalby
My Role: Assisting with bunker shaping, tee building, green shaping, green finishing, approach finishing
About: Bel-Air Country Club is a 1925 George Thomas Jr. design that winds through the canyons of Southern California and is widely regarded as one of the most ingenious routings in the world. The goal of the project was to restore all original greens, bunkers, and barrancas; to restore the native landscape; and to restore width to the golf course.
